   ¡Bienvenidxs! Soy Cynthia, flautista de profesión y creadora   de Be·Kendi. La línea de ropa Be·Kendi nace al convertirme   en madre de un chico de  nombre Ilán Bikendi. Inspirada en   mi amor por él y en los recuerdos de mi niñez en Puerto Rico,   surge el deseo de crear una línea de accesorios y ropa   cómoda y accesible para niños y niñas. Son diseños variados que a su vez incorporan elementos culturales que apelan a nuestra propia niñez como padres/madres.

En la búsqueda del nombre para lo que sería la marca, me topé con el significado de la palabra Kendi, la cual significa "El Amado" (“The Loved One”) y es el segundo nombre de mi hijo, pero escrito diferente.

Be•Kendi promueve la comodidad con estilo a través de su línea unisex y pensando siempre, en crear estilos divertidos para nuestros Kendi kids, porque cada uno de ellxs, son nuestrxs “Loved Ones”.

Welcome! I am Cynthia, a professional flutist and the creator of Be·Kendi. The clothing line Be·Kendi was established when I first became the mother of a boy named Ilán Bikendi. Inspired by my love for him and the memories of my childhood in Puerto Rico, borns the desire to create a comfortable and accessible line of accessories and clothing for children focused on cultural designs that appeal to our own childhood as parents.

In search of the name for what the brand would be, I came across the meaning of the word Kendi, which means "The Loved One" and is my son's middle name, but written differently.

Be•Kendi promotes comfort in style through its unisex line and always thinking, to create fun styles for our Kendi kids, because each of the them, are our "Loved Ones".
